The Aerosol Society is highly respected and it has an active membership of over 600, including researchers in both academia and industry who over the years have contributed many papers and publications extending knowledge of this fascinating science.
There is a subcommittee of members with an interest in the development of drugs and inhaled delivery devices that organises the annual Drug Delivery to the Lung Conference.
Membership of the society provides access to this community. A full directory is available in the members’ area allowing those with shared interests to locate each other and find expertise in particular areas.
Members are able to update their own entries with details of current research areas and papers presented.
The proceedings from the conferences are always made available to delegates in a published format, but this year they will also be available to members via the website, forming the basis of a useful reference resource, which will grow to provide a repository for knowledge in this area.
Membership subscription fees are 15.00 Pounds Sterling per year for Ordinary Membership and 200.00 Pounds Sterling for Corporate Membership. In line with our policy of encouraging and supporting students in the field of aerosol research, student membership is free.
