Student Travel

Awards in the form of bursaries of agreed specified amounts are available to Student members of the Aerosol Society to attend Overseas Conferences.

Eligible students must meet the following criteria:

1. Be a full time undergraduate or graduate student at the time of the Conference.

2. Present a poster or oral paper at the Conference, describing a research effort to which they made a significant contribution.

3. Clearly benefit from the availability of travel funds in order to attend the Conference.

To apply for funding, students must submit the following information, together with their Conference abstract:

1. A brief description of the research to be presented.

2. The student's contribution to it.

3. Details of other awards, contributions or grants towards travel and/or subsistence expenses.

4. Benefit from attending the Conference.

The application must also have the signature of the student's research advisor.

Consideration will be given to the contribution of the work to the field of aerosol science, the student's contribution to the research, financial need, and how Conference attendance will advance the student's career.
